RECAP OF LAST NIGHT'S SCRIMMAGE
A 44-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Dylan White to sophomore running back Xaviar Clemons was the biggest highlight of the night for the Morrilton High School football team in a 28-14 loss to Conway in a preseason benefit game at Devil Dog Stadium Tuesday night. Turnovers hurt the Dogs in a game in which sophomore Jacolby Criswell ran for 74 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown. Junior Keywan Shavers and senior Isaiah Williams led the team in tackles with five each with Williams also recording a sack. The Devil Dogs open the regular season next Friday at home against Russellville.
