The Morrilton High School baseball season is on the line when the team plays in the first round of the 5A West Conference Tournament on Monday. As the number four seed from the east half of the conference, the Devil Dogs play at the top-seed from the west side, which is Harrison, at 5:00. A win qualifies Morrilton for the state tournament, but a loss means an end to the Devil Dogs' season. It's the same scenario for the Morrilton High School softball team as the Lady Devil Dogs play their first round game at Alma on Monday at 6:00. The Lady Devil Dogs are the number three seed from the east side; the Airedalettes are the two seed from the west side. Morrilton beat Alma earlier this season, 9-8. If they're able to do it again, they'll qualify for the Class 5A State Tournament.
