'02 MHS Volleyball state champs being recognized The Morrilton High School volleyball team plays host to Sylvan Hills on Thursday at Devil Dog Arena, and it will be a special night as Morrilton's 2002 state championship team will be celebrated. That team, coached by Patti Hill, defeated Harrison, 3-1, in the state finals, held that year at Harrison High School. This was the first of two back-to-back state titles for Morrilton volleyball. The members of that 2002 team will be introduced on the court between the junior varsity and varsity matches.
