The Morrilton High School football team is 3-0 for the first time since 1999 and will try to start 4-0 for the first time since 1995 when the Devil Dogs play host to Joe T. Robinson on Friday. But it won't be easy - the Senators are the defending Class 4A state champions and have a roster loaded with Division I prospects. The Devil Dogs won their 5A Central Conference opener last week against Vilonia. This is the first conference game of the season for the Senators, who had an open date last week and are 1-1overall.
