The Morrilton High School tennis team won four courts in its match at Greenbrier on Thursday. Cambry Winborn won a singles match, 6-1; Callie Garrett won a singles match, 7-6; Grahl Pruitt won a singles match, 8-6; and Dakota Taylor and Will Mobley won their doubles match, 8-1. The Devil Dogs hit the court again next Thursday at Rebsamen Tennis Park... The Morrilton High School football team looks to go 2-0 in trophy games to start the season when the Devil Dogs travel to Clarksville Friday night to face the Panthers in the Battle of the Beast. Morrilton beat Class 6A Russellville in the Battle of I-40 last week, but Coach Cody McNabb says Clarksville presents a different kind of challenge because they have an offense that's difficult to prepare for.
